Day 1 - Flight to Rio De Janeiro (Brazil)

Depart for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, South America, which is a land of Historical relics, architectural and natural wonders, a diverse range of foods and culture, vibrant and colorful cities and stunning landscapes.  Enjoy the trip with 7M Tours! (Meals on Flight)

 

 


Day 2 - Rio de Janeiro

In the morning check in to hotel, then in the afternoon, you will board a cable car for a quick ascent to the peak of the Sugarloaf Mountain, the peak that greets entrants to Guanabara Bay.  Nearly 1,300 feet above the waves, you will be able to see for miles and miles on end.  In the evening you will enjoy a scrumptious Indian dinner with your group.  Then we will take a boat tour of Guanabara Bay, viewing the incredible Wonder City from it's most famous bay.  A little historical background...On January 1, 1502, a Portuguese squad discovered Guanabara Bay.  Being that it was the month of January and that the bay appeared to be a large river mouth, he named it Rio de Janeiro, or River of January).  Based on water volume, Guanabara Bay is the largest bay in the world and has several islands, such as the Governor's Island, Fundao and Snakes Island.  To the west lives the grand Rio de Janeiro, and facing eastward is the municipal district of Niteroi.  Various sights and landmarks such as the neighborhoods of Botafogo, Flamengo, Urca, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Fort Sao Joao, Flagstone Island, Santa Cruz Fortress, Rio-Niteroi Bridge and more will be seen as we depart from the Marina da Gloria.  (B,L,D)

 

Day 3 - Rio de Janeiro City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a full day city tour of Rio.  Ascend on one of the wonders of the world, the Corcovado Mountain, by train to visit one of the world's most famous landmarks, the gigantic staute of Christ the Redeemer.  From there we proceed to Cascatinha, Tijuca Forest, to the top of Corcovado Mountain.  Cicade Maravilhosa, "the Marvelous City" as it is known to it's residents and the rest of Brazil is also the most beautiful city in the world, in terms of it's setting, it's people and the local atmosphere.  As a tropiclal resort, Rio offers miles of golden beaches, including Ipanema & Casablanca beaches.  We will visit the Sugar Loaf, drive to "Praia Vermelha" (Red Beach), to take the two stage car up to the top of Sugar Loaf (270 meters-high), which grants the entrance to Rio's harbor and Guanabara Bay.  The Italian made cable car holds 80 passengers and each of the two stages takes two minutes.  The first stage is Morro da Urica with 170 meters, with a restaurant, amphitheatre and heliport.  The second stage goes to the Sugar Loaf itself, thus named for it's resemblances to the love of Sugar used by the Portuguese at the time of the city's discovery.  The view is spectacular at sunset.  The tour continues wih the visit to Metropolitan Cathedral, Samba Stadium and view of architectonic monuments of Rio.  (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Rio de Janeiro

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, the day is at leisure to enjoy the beaches of Ipanema or Copacabana, the sidewalk cafes and the Rio nightlife.  (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Rio de Janiero - Iguassu Falls by Air

Say goodbye to Rio and board your flight for Iguassu Falls.  Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.  In the evening, be ready to immerse yourself in the rhythms of Samba, Tango & Paraguayan Music during dinner and a show at a local restaurant.  (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Iguassu from Brazilian Side &

We depart from hotel and enter the Iguassu National Park, the largest in Southern Brazil.  Visit the Parks' Visitor Center with it's exhibit on the local eco-system.  We then continue down the Cataratas Highway through the rain forest of the National Park to the falls.  The Iguassu Falls are on the border of Brazil and Argentina, where the Iguassu River drops into a gigantic horeshoe canyon.  We descend the walkway, contemplating the lovely waterfalls in all of nature's exuberance, with panoramic views of both the Argentinean & Brazilian sides of the Falls.  We end our walk at the elevator, which does not come back by the same route.  We then spend half a day at the Argentinean Falls, where we will then transfer to the Tancredo Neves Bridge that spans over the Iguassu River, which separates the border between Argentina & Brazil.  Once in Argentina, a scenic highway up to the Argentine Iguassu Park is taken from where the visit of the Falls at Porto Canoas, which gives the access to the very brink of the awe-inspiring Devil's Throat, the largest of the Argentinean Falls, including the San Martin Falls.  On the way back from the falls, we will stop at the "Three Borders", where Brazil, Argentina & Paraguay meet.  (B,L,D)

Day 7 - Iguassu Falls - Buenos Aires by Air

In the early morning, we will enjoy a tasty breakfast and transfer from hotel to airport for departure by flight to Buenos Aires.  Known as the "Paris of the South", Buenos Aires is renowned for it's elegant culture.  A city of immigrants, it waves mutitudes of people, cuisines and cultures into a vibrant and modern tapestry.  Among the points of interest you will see the Main Square Plaza de Mayo surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Presidential Headquarters Office), the Cabildo (Colonial Town Hall) and the Cathedral.  You will also drive through the charming streets of San Telmo and down the colorful roads of La Boca, famous for it's multicolor tin houses.  Later, drive through elegant Barrio Norte on your way to the Recoleta Cemetary, an amazing aboveground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues.  Finally, visit Palermo and it's magnificent mansions and parks.  Enjoy Lunch at typical restaurant (no drinks included).  In the afternoon, enjoy at leisure.  Later enjoy a scrumptious Indian Dinner.  (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Buenos Aires

After a tasty buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a full day of the Fiesta Gaucho Tour and Estancia Santa Susana and meet 'guachos' in their own environment.  Ride to the outskirts of the city into the countryside, the 'pampas' cradle of the 'guacho' and the rich 'guacho' tradition.  Visit typical Estancia in Buenos Aires Province who welcomes you with delicious Argentine 'empanadas' followd by a delicious 'asado criollo' (barbecue) prepared in the traditional fashion and everything is well accompanied by local wines.  At night we proceed to enjoy Indian dinner and later the La Ventana Tango Show.  This is a diverse and superb Tango show with the great tango orchestras of the 1940's.  A group of master tango musicians invite you to listen to excellent music while the passion, fire and charm of the tango dance is expressed by dancing couples.  Also included are a folklore show with dancers and musicians from the Altiplano.  (B,L,D)

Day 9 - Buenos Aires - Cuzco (Peru)

Board a flight to Cuzco this morning; you will make a layover in Lima en route.  Upon your arrival in Cuzco you will be transferred to your hotel.  The tour will show you the amazing Colonial City built on the foundations of the incredible masonry of the Incas, the Plaza de Arms and the Cathedral with it's carved woodworks, altars and paintings.  Then you will be driven to the Inca fortress of Sacsahuaman to the underground cave and temple of Kenko and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca.  (B,L,D)


Day 10 - Peru - Machu Picchu


Board a train bound for Machu Picchu, passing through spectacular mountain scenery and the dramatic Urubamba River valley.  Explore Machu Picchu including the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Thrww Windows, the Cave of the Temple of the Condor and the mysterious calendar of Intihuatana.  (B,L,D)

Day 11 - Peru - Cuzco

An expert local guide leads you on a full-day of sightseeing of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.  You will see the famous ruins of Pisac and Ollantaytambo and visit several local market towns.  We gather in the evening for a farewell Indian Dinner.  (B,L,D)

Day 12 - Lima Peru - Flight back home

Arrive in the morning in Lima, Peru's diverse capital.  After hotel check in, a professional local city guide will lead you on an extensive tour of both modern and colonial Lima.  This evening transfer to the airport for your flight home.  (B,L, Meal on Flight)

At the time of booking (3 Months prior to departure date): Payment as stated on agreement is Per Person as Non Refundable Deposit.  (At this point the airline ticket will be purchased; hotel and other ground transportations along with attractions will be booked.  These are all non refundable events so no refund could be issued to you).

Cancelation Fee:

59 - 30 days prior to the departure date: You get 50% of balance payment

29 -15 days prior to the departure date: You get 25% of balance payment

14 days or less prior to the departure date OR ‘NO SHOW’ for the tour:  You get NO REFUND.

Refund:

There is no refund payable for any unutilized services (e.g., meals, entrance fees, optional tours, hotel and sightseeing) on the tour.
